Pupil Parliamentarians

The Pupil Parliament was established by Richmond borough in 1994 with the aim of helping primary school pupils to become directly involved in citizenship and promoting British values.

Pupils debate and contribute their views to the borough council on many issues, including the school curriculum, sports and recreation as well as wider issues such as antiracism and climate change.

The parliament consists of two representatives (current Year 6 pupils) from each participating school.
