Junior Cricket

I did a q and a at a state school in West London around Richmond and Twickenham but a kind of tougher rougher area at a place called Heathfield Primary School and their cricket set up is extraordinarily great. It all comes down to a bloke called James Watson who is like a visionary really and I mentioned him in an article I wrote a couple of months ago and they asked me to go along to help do a q and a. Zafar Ansari was there, Arun Harinath and Donna Fraser the great Olympian runner she was there as well. It was just heartening to see that even though cricket in state schools is on its knees and has been shamefully ignored, if you have individuals who have the gumption and selflessness and vision to put something together then you can do great stuff. So I just want to give a shout out to Mr Watson one of your own!
